Intelligent Devices also develops embedded controllers and software solutions to solve the problem of non NTCIP compliance with older ITS devices. The development of the IDI 1000 series of embedded devices provides a quick, inexpensive solution which offers an NTCIP migration path for existing legacy devices, greatly simplifying the NTCIP integration requirement for integrators and consultants. The embedded controllers are also used by a large number of OEM device manufacturers as an original NTCIP conformance solution for new products. To date, IDI has over 12,000 NTCIP controllers deployed throughout the world.
