Intelligent NETworks in Sao Paulo

Intelligent Devices has been awarded a contract, in conjunction with our Brazilian distributor ASPECT Midia, for the deployment of Intelligent NETworks in Sao Paulo, Brazil. IDI and ASPECT Midia are to deploy the system along a Rodoanel/SP, a major roadway around Sao Paulo City, for about 37 miles. The goal for the system is to provide accurate and helpful travel information to the motorists along this major roadway.  This project began in October 2009 and is scheduled for completion by March 2010.

This deployment of Intelligent NETworks includes modules for DMS, CCTV and Maps. NTCIP was specified for the entire system making deployment and field device integration much faster. Intelligent Devices and ASPECT Midia have previously been working to incorporate NTCIP into ASPECT Midia’s DMS signs, which will subsequently be deployed in this project. This project also involves integration to Bosch CCTV cameras which also support NTCIP.
